by car
From Budapest:
The shortest (138 km): Motorway M1 until Kisigmánd (exit 85), than until Kisbér on road 13 through Nagyigmánd, Csép and Ete. From Kisbér to Bakonyszombathely than Bakonybánk, Lázi, Gic, Bakonytamási and finally Pápateszér.

A bit longer (142 km): Motorway M1 until Székesfehérvár and to Kisbér on road 81. From Kisbér to Bakonyszombathely than Bakonybánk, Lázi, Gic, Bakonytamási and finally Pápateszér.

From Győr (45 km): Go to south on road 82 and after Bakonypéterd turn right to road 832, than Gic, Bakonytamási and finally Pápateszér.

From Székesfehérvár (80 km): On road 82 to Kisbér. From Kisbér to Bakonyszombathely than Bakonybánk, Lázi, Gic, Bakonytamási and finally Pápateszér.

From Veszprém (60 km):Go to north on road 82 and after Veszprémvarsány turn left to road 832-es útra, than Gic, Bakonytamási and finally Pápateszér.

From Pápa (21 km): On road 832 to Nagygyimót, than Csót and finally Pápateszér.

Your four-legged family member is welcome at HUG, provided that together we can maintain the peace and safety of both the festival community and local animals.
Please bring only dogs that do not attack, chase, or harass people or animals.There are cats, poultry, and other animals living on and around the property.

Please bring:

● Valid rabies vaccination
● Combined vaccinations
● Deworming records
● Secure harness or collar
● LeashIdentification tag with your name and phone number

If your dog attacks a person or another animal, you must immediately restrain it. Repeated problems may result in the dog being removed from the festival.
A biodegradable, plastic-free dog waste bag package must be purchased upon entry: 500 HUF / 15 bags
Please always clean up after your dog and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Upon arrival, you will sign a short declaration confirming that you accept these rules and provide contact details for yourself and your dog.

We are happy when people arrive together—it's more fun and more sustainable. Carpooling is organized among HUG attendees: you can sign up as a passenger or offer free seats in your car. Pápateszér is easily accessible from several directions.
• From Budapest (shortest route – 138 km):
Take the M1 motorway to Kisigmánd (Exit 85), then continue on Route 13 toward Kisbér via Nagyigmánd, Csép, and Ete. ● • From Kisbér continue through Bakonyszombathely, Bakonybánk, Lázi, Gic, and Bakonytamási to Pápateszér.
• From Budapest (alternative route – 142 km):
Take the M7 motorway to Székesfehérvár, then Route 81 to Kisbér. Continue via Bakonyszombathely, Bakonybánk, Lázi, Gic, and Bakonytamási to Pápateszér.
• From Győr (45 km):
Take Route 82 south, turn right onto Route 832 after Bakonypéterd, then continue through Gic and Bakonytamási.

Pápateszér can be reached by long-distance bus and train. Suitable connections can be found on menetrendek.hu and the MÁV website.

Where can you sleep?

● The festival membership ticket includes camping.
After arrival, simply choose a spot in the designated camping area and make yourself at home for four days.
● If you prefer not to camp, accommodation is available in nearby villages through Szallas.hu or Booking.

Food and Drinks

Food stalls and hot meals will be available on-site. Vendors will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, and various food products.
Both meat and vegetarian options will be available.You may also bring your own food, but please note that refrigeration facilities will not be provided.

Zero-Waste HUG

Community and nature go hand in hand at HUG. The event is designed to be as waste-free as possible.
Please bring your own plate, mug and cutlery.
●Whenever possible, avoid disposable and heavily packaged products.
● Please collect any waste you generate and take it with you when you leave.
This place hosts us for four days; together we care for it and leave it clean.

Washing Facilities and Toilets

You can choose between two approaches:
Eco-friendly facilities
Composting toilets and outdoor showers are available for those who value ecological solutions and enjoy showering under the open sky.The shower water is filtered and returned to nature, so please use only biodegradable hygiene products such as soap, shower gel, and toothpaste.
Conventional facilities
Flush toilets and standard indoor showers are also available.

Regardless of which option you choose, please conserve water: Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or soaping up. Avoid unnecessary water use.
Handwashing stations and drinking water will be available throughout the festival.

For Families with Children

Children under 14 enter free of charge and do not need to be registered.A small playground with a sandbox and climbing structures will be available.Please note that no childcare or supervision services are provided.

What happens if it rains?

Unless there is a severe storm, concerts, workshops, and other programs will take place as planned.Bring rain gear if you feel it is necessary.

Is the ticket transferable or refundable?

The ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable.

When can I arrive and how long can I stay?

Arrival begins on Thursday, July 2, at 2:00 PM.
The festival site must be vacated by Sunday, July 5, at 2:00 PM, after the closing events.
